Ein Kunstwerk voller Freundschaft und Geschichte Ich freue mich, euch mein neuestes Mixed-Media-Kunstwerk zu präsentieren: ein Porträt meines guten Freundes Berthold Stein. Unsere Freundschaft begann 2019, als er auf meine Arnold Schwarzenegger-Zeichnung aufmerksam wurde. Seitdem hat Berthold mich stets unterstützt und viele meiner Meilensteine miterlebt. Dieses Porträt ist für mich deshalb besonders bedeutsam. Das Kunstwerk basiert auf einer ikonischen Aufnahme von 1992 und ist in Saarbrücken vor dem legendären Bodypoint entstanden. Auf dem Bild ist Berthold auf einer Honda CBR900RR Fireblade, einem Kultbike, zu sehen. Berthold Stein dominierte 1992 die Saarlandmeisterschaft und wurde ein gefeiertes Model in der Bodybuilding-Szene. Über ein Jahrzehnt hinweg zierte er dank des renommierten Autors und Chefs der BSA Akademie, Johannes Marx, sowie des Fotografie-Meisters Florian Schneider regelmäßig die Seiten der Sportrevue. Seine Bilder wurden europaweit veröffentlicht und machten ihn zu einem bekannten Gesicht der Fitness- und Bodybuilding-Welt. Besonders wertvoll sind für Berthold die vielen Freundschaften, die aus dieser Zeit entstanden sind und bis heute bestehen. Albert Busek, Wegbereiter von Arnold Schwarzenegger und eine absolute Legende im Bodybuilding-Journalismus sowie langjähriger Chefredakteur der Sportrevue, erkannte die einzigartige Bildsprache von Johannes Marx und brachte Berthold Stein damit regelmäßig auf die Seiten der Zeitschrift. Dieses Porträt vereint all diese Erinnerungen und Erfolge. Es ist eine Hommage an einen außergewöhnlichen Athleten und einen wunderbaren Freund. 💪🏼🎨 Das Mixed-Media-Werk wurde mit diversen Fasermalern und Künstlerfarbstiften auf Hahnemühle Bristol-Papier angefertigt.
